Securing a Use Permit and Overseeing All Aspects of Construction

In 2005, Wells Guthrie and I decided that it was time to search for a permanent home for Copain Wines. Picking the right location and ensuring that a Use Permit was obtainable was critical. Once purchased, it was very important that we build and start our new winery as soon as possible. We would not be making wine in our new home, or seeing new customers in our tasting room if it were not for the experience and skill of Steve Martin Associates, Inc.

Steve worked with us through every step of the process. He wrote, submitted and acquired our permit in a period of 6 months. He became my right hand man and oversaw all aspects of the construction. By harvest of 2007, we were able to produce wine in our new facility with a Temporary Occupancy Permit and the winery was "finalled" in the spring of 2008.

Steve and his team stuck with us every step of the way. I am confident that if it were not for his project management skills, relationships and expertise, we would not have completed our 2007 harvest in our new facility. I would highly recommend Steve and his team to anyone contemplating the construction of a new winery.
